I am amazed by this program. I came
into it not knowing what to expect and I definitely got way more
than I came for. Walking into the room the first evening
I was intimidated. Walking out of the room the second evening, I
was inspired, hopeful, and amazed by the changes that took place between
and among the kids. A safe place was created to allow changes
and awareness to take place. I also enjoyed the mixture and
wide variety of activities - from listening to playing games
to sharing meals together.

Manaia meant putting myself "out
there" and looking at places inside that were sub par in order to become
